The property filled with charm and character, has been thoughtfully refurbished during the current owner’s tenure with fine attention to detail ensuring the preservation and restoration of many of the original Victorian features. Extensive works and development in the grounds have maximised the panoramic sea and village views from the tiered garden which includes an impressive greenhouse and delightful elevated studio.  There is also potential for a hot tub on the uppermost terrace and the vegetable garden is a delight to behold!

The location  is one of the most desirable on the West Wales Coastline with Little Haven, not only one of the most picturesque coastal villages, but blessed with three popular pubs – all serving excellent food, an art gallery, coffee shop and an active boating community.  A short walk takes you to Broad Haven’s Blue Flag beach, pubs, cafes, post office and small shops to visit and enjoy in the friendly neighbouring community.   The long and lovely beach of Newgale is a short drive away, with the well known coastal path providing scenic walks in and out of harbours, beaches and coves, up and down the headlands of the unspoiled, rugged coastline.  By car the picturesque harbour of Solva and bustling community of St. Davids – the UK’s smallest city, are easily accessible.

The market town of Haverfordwest is seven miles distant, with all necessary amenities including grocery superstores and a shopping park that includes Marks & Spencers, Debenhams and Laura Ashley.  Road and railway links to Carmarthen, Swansea and Cardiff are easily and quickly accessible.

The refurbishment concluded in 2014 and was inclusive of: new drains, new large bore water supply, addition of a damp proofing course where required, new membrane and floor to the kitchen and utility rooms, new authentic timber sash-windows with Slimlite double glazing in 2012 with new Upvc double glazed rear windows, two newly reconstructed bay windows, new ceilings and plaster as well as the replacement of the kitchen, shower and bath rooms, carpets and general decoration throughout.  A hard wired fire/heat alarm has also been fitted.

Delightful original Victorian features restored and refurbished include plaster coving to most rooms with some decorative ceiling roses, ornate architraves, hand stripped floor boards and encaustic patterned tiles in the main hallway.

Entrance Hall
A handsome part-glazed timber door with transom window above and glass panes each side provides entry to a spacious, welcoming hall.  Features include a beautifully restored Victorian encaustic tile floor of geometric design and a gracious archway to the rear hall and stairs.  Deep coving decorates the high ceiling fitted with a hanging lamp.   Doors lead to reception rooms, with the rear hall leading to the utility room and kitchen.

2nd Sitting Room
Original hand stripped wooden floorboards add character to a bright and airy reception room currently used as the breakfast and afternoon tea room for guests.  High ceiling with deep coving, centre rose and glass chandelier, deep bay window with seat boasting views over the village and coast, plus a west facing sash window with sea views, and half glazed French doors through to the Drawing Room.
